Just subscribe to these 3 YouTube channels:

I Like To Make Stuff

This was the first channel I ever saw that inspired me to MAKE things and made it seem attainable. Even after years of making things, I still find inspiration, new techniques, and new things to try in every video. Bob has a nice mix of practical, impractical (but super cool), beginner-friendly, and very involved projects with a mix of materials, including woodworking, 3D printing, and metal fabrication.

The Smuggler's Room

If you love Star Wars, you'll love watching Brian make something out of nothing. Over the years, Brian has made entire rooms Star Wars themed, taking us along the way through every greeblie, pitfall, LED, weathering, and installation. He has a wealth of knowledge and finds creative ways to use otherwise trash to create amazing themed projects.

3D Printing Nerd

Good, reliable 3D printers are finally affordable, so getting one to start your Maker journey is a fantastic option. Joel's prints are inspirational, and he's also a deep resource for honest reviews of pretty much every popular 3D printer and filament. I learn something in every video that I never would have thought of otherwise.
